All our wooden spoons are treated with food-grade walnut oil prior to shipping to protect them from food stains and to bring out the beauty of the wood. Even non-treated spoons may have come into contact with walnut oil in our workshop. If you have a nut allergy, please consult your doctor before buying one of our spoons.
